What is Metal Spinning?
Simply put, metal spinning is the transformation of a flat metal disc into a specific shape. It is achieved by rotating it at high speeds on a manual spinning lathe or performed by CNC controlled automated spinning machines. The flat metal disc is clamped against a spin block or 'chuck' and a series of sweeping motions then evenly transforms the disc around the chuck into the desired shape.
