Franjo is Spinning Its way to success!

26 years ago Franjo Metal Spinning Inc. decided to open in Saint-Laurent where "the geographic location is exceptional", as company president Franz Guschlbauer would say. Since then, the enterprise has doubled its production facility and completely changed the world of metal spinning by incorporating new technologies and computerized equipment to the traditional way of spinning metal.

The Franjo plant now has eight completely automated spinning machines and nine other stations where the work is done manually. The modern Franjo installations make it possible for the company to answer customers' needs within some very tight deadlines. Over the years, the enterprise has become the most important player on the Canadian metal spinning scene.

Their product list includes over 6000 items and the company is a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The finish of all the spinning work is done on site as the building also includes an in-house tool shop and complete punch press department.

To become the leader of the metal spinning sector in Canada, Franjo has never stopped investing in technology and machinery. In 2005, the company injected more than $1,000,000 in its operations and implemented a continous improvement program that is, as it should be, a work in progress.
